Oil on canvas. Painted on site. 2008. This is a painting of China Camp which is a historical site in Northern California. In the early 1900's this was a working shrimp fishing and packing site. The packing sheds were operated by Chinese Americans and the processed shrimp was sent to China, This site is now a state park and people go to swim, hike and picnic.
