Orignal acrylic on canvas. The painting is of the city beach in Natal, Brazil. Natal is the city which sits on the the part of Brazil which juts out furthest into the Atlantic Ocean. The three big bears represent the kings who came with gifts on Jan. 6th, which is the date of Ira's birthday. Natal is the site of an old Portuguese fort named "Fortaleza os Tres Magos ( the fort of the tree kings)", established in 1594. Natal was also the site of English air force base built during WWII.
